Description
DPS Wax Melting Pot
N.B. You will need a stainless steel inner if you want a heated valve.
These melting pots are designed for melting waxes and their compounds for coating, casting and protecting applications. The typical melting range is from 50-250 °C with thermostatic control and a safety cut-off. Extra cost options include a pouring spout, side knob, and stainless steel inner. Our wax melter range covers various uses – please call if you have any special requirements.
Our DPS Wax Melting Pots are great for industrial and hobbyist users who are shorter on space or have a low volume of product to heat. The whole range is relatively small in form and can easily fit on a tabletop. Capacities range from 0.7L to 20L as standard and can come with a pouring spout or tap if required. Due to the nature of these melters, they are great for creating candles or dipping drill bits for a protective seal.

Had one of the smallest of these pots for a couple of years now, works like a charm using SEBA strippable wax.
As professional sharpeners we apply it by dipping, applying to sharpened horse and dog clipper blades, wood chisels, plane blades and other small sharp edged items
Adds that finishing professional touch and differentiates us a little.

I bought both a 12 litre and a much larger version both of which have proved to be excellent bits of kit. Fully recommended.

I’ve had one of these and used it regularly for twenty years. It has been brilliant. I’ve recently bought another to increase my capacity it has been just as good. I plan to buy a third one shortly!
